About SIWI
Stockholm International Water Institute (SIWI) is a not-for-profit foundation based in Stockholm that works globally to improve how water is managed for people, nature, and sustainable development. We help governments, organizations, and companies make better decisions about water, based on knowledge, collaboration, and good governance.
SIWI brings people together to find solutions to shared water challenges.
Our work turns dialogue into action by helping partners develop joint commitments, practical solutions, and stronger institutions. Every year, SIWI hosts World Water Week, the world’s leading conference on water and sustainable development, which gathers experts, policymakers, and organizations from across the globe.
